Christmas At The Beach

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. The internet went down for a few days here after the earthquake in Taiwan (which Yami and I felt) and blogger's been a bit quirky.

For Christmas eve Yami and I ordered a proper lamb dinner with all the trimmings from a gourmet shop here. It was wonderful having meat that isn't chopped up in a dumpling or stir-fried.

Christmas day was spent with about 2 dozen expats at the beach which was not so much of a change for Yami or me but the others thought it was weird. It wasn't as warm as Hawaii but still in the low 70's. The beach at Repulse Bay is located on the other side of the island, about a 30 minute bus ride from HK. It is suprisingly nice and reminds me of the wide beaches in California.

No crazy partying for this xmas... we saved that for New Year's.
